Jackie is a registered member with the Australian Counselling Association and has worked for various organisations in the past, helping individuals navigate life challenges and sudden obstacles. She is now focusing on her own private practice and has a special interest in relationships and effective communication. Jackie will assist her clients to build a happier and more rewarding life balance by carefully and attentively listening to your concerns and increasing coping strategies through understanding and skill development.

Jackie is passionate about helping people make positive changes and gain control of their lives. With Jackie’s warmth and relaxed approach she encourages her clients to explore fears and beliefs using practical tools and strategies that can help with negative thought processes and reprogramming rigid or limited thoughts and beliefs. Jackie’s counselling sessions are supportive and practical to assist her clients to find their strengths and achieve goals, both personal and professional.

Jackie incorporates therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy in her counselling sessions and uses Gottman Therapy techniques for couples counselling, that is designed to help couples strengthen relationships, replace negative conflict patterns with positive interactions and to repair past hurts.
