Homer Zeitz is a compassionate, insightful clinical psychologist with over 25 years’ professional experience. He is an active member of the Australian Psychological Society, with a substantial background working in a range of counselling settings including private practice. Homer specialises in providing effective therapeutic support to clients of all ages, including group work with families and couples.
Homer is respectful, honest and engaging. He is strongly committed to supporting his clients with effective, outcome-focused counselling. Homer’s great sense of humour is coupled with extensive training and knowledge – he instantly puts his clients at ease, whilst equipping them with skills, knowledge and strategies to address their concerns and create the conditions for positive change to occur. Homer is adept at helping his clients to function more effectively in their personal and professional lives, and is dedicated to supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Homer is an empathic, understanding listener with a deep understanding of the pathways to behavioural change and self-acceptance. He tailors counselling sessions to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each of his clients. Homer uses a blend of evidence-based counselling techniques in his practice, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
