Hayley Lowe is a qualified and skilled counsellor with many years experience and a sound and empathic approach. She is a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and has experience working with children, young adults, adults, families and groups in non-profit, private and school settings.
Hayley is enthusiastic, empathic, and a motivated counsellor who believes that an effective counselling relationship includes ensuring that the client feels safe, understood, respected, and accepted without judgement. By exploring areas of concern and offering insights and support, Hayley guides clients to make effective change. She views all mental and physical problems from a whole person perspective and is committed in assisting clients in identifying underlying physical and emotional causes. Hayley assists clients’ to develop effective strategies for them to address their concerns and manage any of life’s challenges.
Each session with Hayley is tailored to meet the client’s personal needs, with specialised techniques when working with children. Hayley incorporates a number of counselling techniques into her practice, including: Sandplay and Symbol work, Expressive Therapy, Trauma- Informed Therapy, Grief and Bereavement Therapy and integrates, client-centred approach and is skilful at helping clients address a variety of issues. Hayley offers warmth and understanding but with a confident knowledge base on how she may be able to help you overcome the challenges you face.
