Gretta Daley is a skilled and engaging counsellor with many years’ experience. She is a member of Australian Association of Social Workers. Gretta has worked in numerous settings, supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with a broad range of issues.
Gretta’s warm and genuine presence creates a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore any issues they are experiencing. Gretta helps clients to view themselves through a more self-compassionate lens, while also increasing self-awareness and a sense of empowerment to work through concerns and create positive change. Gretta’s approachable, empathetic nature supports clients to openly face life’s challenges in a way that grows a greater connection to choices and ultimately, improved wellbeing, relationships and life satisfaction.
Gretta draws upon a strong background of experience and training to inform her practice – she is passionate about mental health and keeps informed of emerging techniques in the field in order to offer the absolute best insights to her clients. Gretta’s approach to counselling is person-centred and individualised, integrating therapy approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Mindfulness-Based Therapy; Internal Family Systems therapy; and neuroscience concepts to support trauma-informed practice.
