Fiona Sadler is a qualified counsellor registered with the Australian Counselling Association, who works with adolescents, adults, couples and families. When you meet with Fiona, you will immediately be reassured by her warm and professional approach making you feel at ease as she is very calming and reassuring. Fiona is a true empathic, genuine, warm, and extremely passionate counsellor who aims to have every client feel heard and valued.
Fiona gets to the heart of problems quickly and sees counselling as an opportunity for constructive conversation; where counsellor and client collaborate to establish and reinforce the client’s sense of empowerment and self-awareness by using strategies to help clients achieve their goals. It’s not uncommon to also enjoy laughter in her room. Fiona’s counselling style is warm and interactive, and she works closely with the client to uncover their issues, recognise their triggers, behaviours and thought patterns, and discover tools and techniques to help move them forward.
Session recommendations are discussed on an individual basis and tailored to each client’s needs for effective therapeutic support which include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Approach Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Family Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution Focus Counselling.
