Emma is an empathetic and committed practitioner who enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients and has worked in a diverse range of settings with children, adolescents, and adults. Emma is a member of the Australian Psychological Society as well as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and is in her last placement before completing her Master of Professional Psychology (Clinical).
Emma’s warm and compassionate approach allows her to facilitate a therapeutic space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Emma takes an individual approach to every client she meets and will work collaboratively to tailor a treatment plan that will meet each client’s therapeutic needs.
Emma is experienced in diagnosing and treating a variety of psychological disorders and concerns relating to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, interpersonal conflict, stress and coping, adjustment, grief, self-confidence, and self-esteem issues. Emma’s therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Psychoeducation, and Dialectical Behaviour Informed Therapy (DBT).
