Dr Julie Rowse is a highly professional and compassionate counsellor with 18 years’ experience providing specialist support. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Julie has extensive experience supporting clients in both the community, academic and private sector. Through specialised therapeutic support, she can support children, adolescents, and adults both individually and as couples or families.
Julie is passionate about supporting her clients to achieve their goals and live life to the full through great well-being and believes that through providing tailored support, her clients can gain insight and awareness into their experiences in life. She provides a comfortable and motivating environment that allows her clients to understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a constructive way that facilitates positive outcomes within their lives.
Through a biopsychosocial treatment approach, Julie draws from a range of therapeutic methods to provide specialised support. These methods include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivation Interviewing, Meridian Family Work, Triple P Parenting and Integrated Mental Health Care Treatment.
