Carla Rogers is a psychologist with a passion for helping others to live their best life. She holds full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority. Carla has been in private practice for many years and specialises in working with adults, couples, children, adolescents and families.
Carla has a particular interest in coaching her clients through challenging life stages and transitions. She helps clients to identify and change unhelpful patterns and beliefs, resulting in improved life circumstances, relationships and overall wellbeing. Carla’s counselling style is relaxed and open, and clients set the goals they wish to achieve with her during an initial conversation. Carla then provides useful tools and strategies to help her clients achieve their desired outcomes, with a focus on practical, long-lasting change.
Carla enjoys combining traditional cognitive-behavioural therapies with methods that focus on altering unconscious patterns, as this blend of approaches yields the best results for her clients. Techniques that Carla integrates into counselling include: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Tapping, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Biofeedback and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
