David Gotlieb is an exceptionally skilled and practical counsellor with over 30 years’ experience. He is also an active member of the Australian Counselling Association. In addition to his counselling practice, David provides clinical training and supervision to psychologists and counsellors Australia-wide. David specialises in providing effective therapeutic support to children, adolescents and adults.
David is extremely results-orientated. He is committed to providing his clients with supportive strategies that create long-lasting change within a short timeframe. David has a very practical approach to counselling: he communicates in a way that makes the most complex situations feel manageable, and changes easy to understand and implement. By facilitating genuine insight about the factors underpinning specific situations, relationships and behaviours, David assists his clients to adopt new and effective response strategies when dealing with life’s challenges.
David supports his clients with a range of effective, evidence-based therapeutic tools. Techniques that David uses include: Holistic Counselling, Process-Orientated Psychology, and Solution-Focused Therapy. David is deeply committed to helping his clients move forward with a sense of confidence and calm.
