Conor McCabe is a compassionate, highly skilled counsellor with substantial professional experience. In addition to his extensive background in private practice, Conor has worked in the community health and disability sectors supporting clients with a diverse range of needs. He specialises in providing effective therapeutic support to adults, couples and families.
Conor is committed to providing a safe, confidential environment where his clients feel at ease discussing and exploring their concerns. He has a deeply intuitive approach to counselling, and skilfully supports his clients to identify, understand and accept any factors that are contributing to their current situation. Equipped with genuine insight - including new strategies to alleviate distress and alter unproductive patterns of thinking and relating – Conor's clients leave counselling empowered to embrace and create lasting positive change in their lives.
Conor specifically tailors his therapeutic response to meet the personal needs, circumstances and counselling goals of his clients. His counselling practice is grounded in Psychoanalytic-Oriented Psychotherapy, and he offers both medium and long-term support to his clients. Conor is dedicated to working collaboratively with his clients to improve their engagement with life, and increase their overall sense of wellbeing.
