Colleen Reilly is a highly effective counsellor with 16 years of professional experience. She is a clinically registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. Colleen consults with adult individuals, couples and families presenting with a wide range of concerns. She is empathetic and non-judgemental and provides a highly supportive space for her clients to address their concerns and challenges.
Colleen assists clients with relationship issues, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression, loss and grief, and those seeking greater meaning and purpose in their lives. She is also a competent and passionate couple therapist who loves assisting couples to find solutions to their difficulties. For more than 10 years, Colleen has helped hundreds of couples by facilitating pre-marital workshops providing lively discussions and evidence-based resources and tools.
Colleen encourages her clients to pause and reflect on how they want to live and love and explores how they get stuck in unhelpful patterns. Her extensive knowledge and person-centred approach support her clients to align their way of being to their true values and goals, thus choosing a path that is important to them. As a humanistic therapist, Colleen is interested in the whole person and gently guides them to new perspectives that help them to heal and thrive. Using Emotion-Focused Therapy practices, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness Practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and with an Attachment Theory and Family Systems lens, Colleen fosters healthy relationships and personal well-being and growth.
