Christine Wilde is a warm and caring counsellor, with extensive experience working in private practice. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association. Christine is dedicated to creating a safe and trusting relationship with her clients, and specialises in supporting individual adolescents and adults with effective therapeutic counselling.
Christine uses a holistic approach to ensure that her clients gain awareness and understanding of the connections between their thoughts, behaviour and emotions. Christine helps her clients to identify, explore and address any patterns that are causing their distress. By developing insight and understanding her clients feel calmer, clearer, and confident in their ability to make long-lasting changes across a range of different issues. Christine is dedicated to working with her clients towards their own personal goals so they may find fulfilment, meaning and experience positive change.
Christine draws upon numerous therapeutic approaches in her counselling practice, and tailors sessions to suit the individual needs and goals of each client. Therapeutic techniques that Christine uses include: Psychoanalytic Self-Psychology, Attachment-Oriented Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Art Therapy. Christine is strongly committed to helping her clients achieve optimal wellbeing in all areas of life.
