Caroline Prince is a highly skilled and solution-focused counsellor with over 20 years’ professional experience. She is a member of the AASW, and a registered member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotion-Focused Therapy. Caroline has a substantial background working in the public and private sectors, including supervision and training of other clinicians. Caroline specialises in providing effective therapeutic support to individuals, couples and families.
Caroline works in a respectful and open way with clients and their families. Her counselling approach is grounded in values of equality, inclusion and empowerment. Caroline is insightful and engaging: she helps her clients gain the knowledge and skills that are essential to achieving meaningful solutions to their problems. Interventions are designed to make sense – and make a difference.
Caroline has an integrated, evidence-based approach to counselling, and tailors sessions to suit her clients’ specific needs. Therapeutic techniques that Caroline uses include: Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, specialist Family Therapy, Schema Therapy and Relaxation Training. She is dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for her clients.
