Caroline (Cal) Flint is a respectful and nonjudgmental counsellor with extensive experience working within a range of areas. She is also a member of the CCAA. Cal has substantial working experience within private and community sectors. She provides specialist counselling support to adults, both individually and as couples or families.
Cal brings an empathetic, integrated and holistic approach to her counselling, ensuring that her clients experience a safe environment where they can personally develop to experience positive change. She is passionate about providing counselling that empowers her clients to make lasting and positive changes in their lives while ensuring that unhealthy and destructive patterns are identified and modified as necessary. Cal believes that each person’s response to a situation is uniquely complex and strongly linked to their own personal experience and life circumstances. She is genuine, insightful and caring and strives to create effective strategies that target the needs and goals of her clients. Cal is committed to a collaborative therapeutic relationship where her clients are encouraged to discover an achievable way forward that improves emotional and psychological wellbeing, as well as improvement in relationships and family life.
Within her sessions, Cal draws on a wide range of contemporary counselling methods tailored to the client’s therapeutic needs. These methods include Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.
