Biannka is a skilled and engaging counsellor, registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and has worked in the human services field since 2007, both in remote and rural Queensland and Western Australia. Biannka has supported young people, adults and couples through her work over many years.
Biannka is known for her warmth and empathetic approach and is passionate about supporting clients to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives. She respects that the client is the expert of their lives and she is present to support clients to uncover patterns and themes that exist in clients lives that may be preventing them from living the fulfilling and rewarding lives, they aspire to live. Once these patterns are uncovered and understood, clients find they are able to live an empowered life where they can make different choices leading to more free and joyful lives.
Biannka has a passion for supporting couples to reconnect and create more intimacy in the relationship. Biannka does this by supporting clients to increase their awareness and understanding of the patterns of behaviour that exist for them both individually and within relationships. It is through this awareness and understanding, that they can create meaningful change in their relationships, leading to more harmony and joy in their lives. Biannka is a Gestalt psychotherapist and also incorporates Emotional Focused Therapy, interpersonal neurobiology and attachment theory in her approach with clients. You will find each session is unique and you will have practical ways to support change in your life.
Biannka Brannigan has appointments available in the following location: Kuranda
