Angela Hall is a highly skilled and compassionate counsellor with extensive professional experience in private practice. She is also a registered member of the Queensland Counsellors Association, and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. Angela specialises in providing effective therapeutic support to individual adult, couples, families, adolescents and children.

Angela is empathic, engaging, and committed to helping her clients successfully navigate their way through life’s challenges. She believes that being heard can be healing: Angela provides a caring, nonjudgmental environment for clients to discuss and explore their concerns. She also has a strong affinity for working with young people – Angela creates a safe, happy space for children to share their worries and develop effective coping skills through creative therapeutic play. Angela supports all of her clients to identify and address the core underlying issues affecting their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Equipped with increased self-awareness and insight, Angela’s clients leave counselling confident in their ability to create and maintain positive changes.

Angela offers personally tailored counselling that acknowledges the uniqueness and personal needs of each individual client. Via an integrated and person-centred approach, she uses numerous therapeutic techniques including: Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Psycho-Education, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Creative Therapies (such as Sandplay, Symbol Work and Mixed Media Art Therapy – young clients respond especially well to these non-verbal counselling approaches). Angela is deeply committed to helping her clients achieve happiness, good health, and personal wellbeing.
