Andrine Bjoerkedal is an accomplished Provisional Psychologist, who supports children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She is registered with the Australian Psychological Society as well as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and has a particular interest in anxiety, stress, and sports recovery.
Andrine is committed to helping her clients develop effective strategies to address their concerns. She envisages psychology as an opportunity – by exploring an area of concern in life and seeking insight into underlying issues and impacts, Andrine helps her clients to create the conditions that make change possible. In this way, each session can develop into a positive and uplifting experience. Each session with Andrine is tailored to meet the clients’ personal therapeutic needs. She incorporates many contemporary models of psychology into her practice, including: Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Process-Oriented Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
