Alice Tait is an intuitive and compassionate counsellor and coach with many years experience supporting and developing people to live their best life. Alice is a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and has worked in a range of settings with adults, adolescents and couples.
Alice is warm and empathic and strives to build trusting relationships with her clients to promote a genuine connection and real outcomes. Alice is passionate about exploring her client’s areas of concern and genuinely committed to finding the best tools and strategies that will suit their needs. In this way, Alice works alongside her client in a reflective and collaborative way to ensure they are making progress and are finding new ways to manage life’s challenges.
Each session with Alice is guided and tailored to her client’s needs at that moment. Alice uses a range of contemporary models and techniques including; Mindfulness Psychotherapy; Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy; Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Alice is also an Equine Assisted Therapist and integrates effective techniques used in this area, such as grounding and mindfulness, into her room-based counselling practice. Alice is skilled at adapting her skills and techniques to the unique needs of each client.
