Ali Spartels is a professional counsellor with over 10 years’ experience providing therapeutic support to clients across a broad range of concerns. She is also an accredited member of the Australian Counselling Association. Ali has extensive experience in both private practice and the public sector, and counsels clients of all ages including children, adolescents, couples and families.
Ali has a very flexible approach to counselling – she adapts her therapeutic style to each client’s individual problems, needs, goals and values. She is dedicated to helping her clients develop a better understanding of themselves and others. Ali focuses on each client’s ability to cope with life challenges, and works towards developing achievable goals that allow her clients to find a positive way of moving forward. This sustainable change also targets the improvement of overall health and wellbeing.
Ali uses a number of effective, evidence-based counselling modalities in her counselling practice. Techniques that Ali uses include: Emotion-Focused Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Process-Oriented Therapy, EMDR and Soul-Centred Psychotherapy. Ali also has advanced training and experience in Integrated Couples Therapy; she is one of our relationship specialists.
