Adrienne Jeffries is a highly experienced clinician, lecturer and trainer, with more than 35 years’ experience. Her personal style is non-judgmental, warm, respectful, collaborative and ‘down to earth’. This approach encourages a safe place where clients can share, reflect, become aware and choose to take charge of their life in more constructive, authentic and life-giving ways.
Adrienne is an established relationship expert and therapist in the field of trauma and recovery. She has a deep and extensive knowledge working with children, adolescents, couples and families experiencing a wide range of life challenges. Adrienne also supervises other health clinicians where she uses her knowledge and wisdom to assist her supervisees to integrate their work and life in profound and unique ways.
Adrienne is committed to working with her clients to become more self-aware so that they may grasp what blocks them from moving forward in life. She leads her clients towards knowing themselves, owning themselves and transforming themselves, by unblocking fixed life patterns and beliefs, and helping her clients build new ways of being and communicating in the world. Adrienne’s mission is to help people turn the key, unlock the door and step through to new beginnings, exciting futures and amazing achievements as a person, couple, or as a family.
Adrienne helps her clients meet their needs by drawing on many contemporary models of counselling including: Mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Psychosynthesis. She will teach you how to relax and connect to your inner self through Relaxation Strategies and Creative Visualisation Techniques. She has trained extensively in Relationship and Family Therapy.
